Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ReusableQR website, dashboard, and related services ("Service") provided by ReusableQR (ReusableQR) ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

This document is a practical template based on how the app is implemented. It is not legal advice. You should adapt it and review it with a qualified lawyer, including adding your correct legal entity name, address, governing law, and any payment terms.

1. About the Service

  • ReusableQR allows you to create dynamic QR codes that redirect to URLs you specify and can later update.
  • You can customize QR code design (for example, colors, corner styles, and logo) and download PNG/SVG image files.
  • The Service keeps track of basic scan analytics such as total scan counts per QR code.
  • The Service is provided "as is" and may change, improve, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Your Content and Responsibility

You control the destination URLs and any associated content that you link through your QR codes. That content is not hosted or created by ReusableQR, but by you or your third-party providers.

  • You are solely responsible for the content, legality, and safety of any websites, files, or experiences that your QR codes point to.
  • You confirm that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to use and share the URLs you configure.
  • You must not use the Service to link to content that violates any law or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable Use

To protect the Service and its users, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service to distribute malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content.
  • Use the Service for illegal activities, harassment, hate speech, or promotion of violence.
  • Link to content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, overload, or disrupt the Service or underlying infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service.

We may remove or disable access to QR codes, destinations, or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property and License

  • The ReusableQR brand, logos, website design, and underlying software are owned or licensed by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business or personal purposes, subject to these Terms.
  • You retain any rights you have in content and URLs you create or host elsewhere and simply link through our QR codes.

6. Plans and Payments

If you introduce paid plans or usage limits, describe them here, including billing cycles, refunds, and cancellation policies. At the time of writing, the codebase provided does not show payment integration, so this section should be updated when you launch any paid offering.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will process your information as described there.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1. Disclaimers

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, or that QR codes will always resolve correctly in every situation.
  • You are responsible for testing your QR codes and verifying that they direct to the correct destinations.

8.2. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
  • Any issues caused by the content or availability of third-party destinations you link to.

Where limitation of liability is not allowed in full, you should adapt this section to your jurisdiction and risk appetite.

9. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion where supported.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
  • Upon termination, we may delete or deactivate your account and restrict access to your QR codes, subject to any legal retention requirements.
